Abstract
|
|
|
A case of supine hypotension syndrome associated with large pseudomucinous cystadenoma of right ovary is presented and literatures pertaining to postural hypotension reviewed.
There have been several reports in recent years relating to the occurrence, incidence and potential dangers of postural hypotension in the pregnant woman approaching term. The presence, however, of both phenomena-large ovarian cyst and supine hypotension with 5th month gestationis not known to have been previously reported.
Supine hypotension syndrome was disappeared immediately after removing the large´ ovarian cyst and postoperative course was uneventful.
